I work at the intersection of engineering and sustainability, building systems and methodologies that support accurate and scalable carbon accounting.

At Normative, my role has progressively expanded from implementation-focused work to broader ownership across sustainability data, calculations, and cross-team initiatives. I contribute to the design and development of tools, data workflows, and methodologies used for carbon accounting and Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), with a strong focus on correctness, maintainability, and business impact.

My work also extends beyond coding into cross-functional collaboration, including support for audit-related processes and contributions to methodology discussions with teams beyond engineering. I regularly help connect technical implementation with sustainability requirements, supporting product, engineers, and other stakeholders on carbon accounting and LCA-related topics.

My background is in chemical and energy engineering, combined with experience in energy transition and environmental initiatives. Over time, I have built a profile that combines sustainability domain expertise with technical execution across data, systems, and product development.

I am particularly interested in building robust sustainability systems that bridge engineering, methodology, and real-world climate impact.

Interests

Some of it is work. Most of it isn't.

  • The energy transition

    Grid decarbonisation, wind resources, and the messy economics of getting from a national plan to something actually built.

  • Making emissions data honest

    Methodology that survives an audit is a design problem as much as a climate one. I care about the boring parts that make numbers trustworthy.

  • Languages

    Eight of them, picked up across Italy, Portugal, Czechia and Sweden. Swedish is the current project.

  • Early-stage & open innovation

    Years spent connecting start-ups with the companies that needed them left me permanently interested in how good ideas find their first customer.

  • Living somewhere new

    Italy, Czechia, Spain, Portugal, Sweden — plus a stubborn habit of spending summers somewhere I don't speak the language yet.
